Title: Powersports Parts Coordinator, Sales Assistant
We’re in need of an entry-level parts coordinator and Sales Assistant, who can combine their love for the outdoors and motorsports with their passion for building relationships. Edge Powersports is not your typical motorcycles and ATV dealer that is simply trying to move product. We’re building a community of adventurers that chase the kind of freedom that comes from wide-open throttles.

 

Your biggest responsibilities as a parts coordinator will be to help customers in finding and ordering parts, accessories, etc. for their motorsports needs. You should be ready to help customers troubleshoot problems to get them their needed parts/products. Part of this job will be maintaining workspace organization and inventory systems, so when you’re looking for a certain bolt for that certain motorcycle, you’re not searching for a needle in a haystack.

 

Your biggest responsibilities as a sales assistant will be more than simply understand customers’ needs to help them find the product they’re looking for. Your mentality will be more about building foundations of trust and comradery, rather than pressuring the purchase in order to hit quotas.

Need to haves: Parts Department
- Can you operate a computer? You know: turn on, turn off, send emails, input data, not start it on fire.
- Can you communicate professionally with co-workers and customers alike?
- Do you have a knack for solving problems?
- Are you detail-oriented when taking or telling information?
- Are you good at setting expectations and timelines?
- Are you great at staying organized?
- Can you take ownership on your work to make sure the job is done right?
- Do you know a thing or two about motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs or snowmobiles?
- Can you get to work on time, all the time?

 

Nice to haves: For Parts Department
- Parts experience, preferably in motorsports (motorcycle, ATV, UTV, snowmobile).
- Point-of-sale system/software experience.
- Inventory system software experience.
- Deep knowledge and interest in motorsports industries.
- Constant focus on bettering the consumer experience.

 

Need to haves: Sales Department
- Can you operate a computer? You know: turn on, turn off, send emails, not start it on fire.
- Are you good at striking up conversations with people you’ve never met?
- Can you communicate professionally with co-workers and customers alike?
- Do you know a thing or two about motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs or snowmobiles?
- Can you get to work on time, all the time?
- Are you organized?

 

Nice to haves: Sales Department
- Sales experience, preferably showroom or cold-call sales.
- Point-of-sale system/software experience.
- Deep knowledge and interest in motorsports industries.
- Constant focus on bettering the consumer experience.
